Team composition?
Most sports are mixed, but some aren't! Some can be any gender combination, otherwise its specified on the sports page, please check on the specific sports page for details.NB a few sports,eg clay target, ten pin; teams may be able enter single sex teams (depending on entry level) BUT teams are not eligible to go through to finals. Teams must contact Games organisers for confirmation.
Does our organisation need to be from Wellington
Your team can come from anywhere; Timbuktu, London, Porirua....The more the merrier!
Do we need to be fit?
For some events no above average fitness is required just team spirit, eg Carlucci Mini Golf, Indoor Formua One, Ten Pin, Clay Target, Corporate Challenge, Amazing Urban Race, Yachting.How many teams can we enter in each sport?
You can enter as many teams as your organisation can field, as long as we have spaces for them which means for some sports you have to get in quick to secure space. For Amazing Urban Race we will give priorities to organisations that enter other sports as well.
How many in a team?
This depends on the sport,
3 in each of: Golf, Clay Target, Indoor Formula 1, Paint Ball, Mini golf
4 - Ten Pin
5 - Amazing Urban Race
6 - Corporate Challenge, Yachting
8 - 10 - Indoor Netball, Soccer, Touch
Exceptions to the rules:
M2S run/walk 2-4
Tour de Wainui 2-3

Can we send entries in without payment?
Yes but!! Teams can register online BUT entries will not be entered/ confirmed until payment is received. And payment details need to be filled in on the entry form when registering.
To make payment easier you have two choices, either Direct Credit or by cheque.
Where a sport fills up, priority will be given to organisations that have paid - first paid first served!
Can we enter one or a couple of sports?
Yes you can enter just one team for the Games, however, places for Corporate Challenge and Amazing Urban Race are limited and priority is given to Organisations entering other events.
When do the draws go up?
The draws will be up five days before the event, this is to allow us time to make sure all draws are correct and to create minimal changes on the day. Team managers and team captains (which we have details for) will be emailed when they are posted on the website. We will also update the Games Facebook page and Tweeter out, when draws go up.
How do we get our draws?
The draws will posted as PDF's on the website and Twitter will be sent out informing people when they are available.
What time are we playing?
Go to the draw section, (in latest news) find your sport and click from there.
What time do we tee off for Golf?

When will we receive our prizes?
Medals and trophies will be generally given out after the finals for an event, however in some there are no finals and those awards are given out at main Games Prize Giving. Also Top Business Awards, Top Team Attitude and Overall Top Organisation trophies will be given out at main Games Prize Giving.
Do I need a 'golf' handicap?
For social and minigolf - No you don't. If you don't have a handicap you will play of the maximum handicap (24 for men and 36 for Women). Where a player does not currently have an 'official' handicap, e.g., is not a member of a club, their previous handicap is to be used.
For competitive open golf - handicaps will be needed to be submitted by the Monday prior.
What if we don't have enough females or males for team?
Family members are eligible to play (as per our team composition rules); as long as they fit the requirements for an individual sport or get in touch with us. The team who haven't got enough females or males to meet the team qualifications may be able to play in some sports but will NOT be eligible for winning position & prizes.
Event changes or Withdrawals
You can change the event you are in up until closing date (providing there are spaces) with no charges.
Withdrawals - We will reimburse 80% up until Sept 6, then 50% refund up until closing date, after this date there will be no refunds.
Event cancellation/postponement
In the case of event cancellation/postponement/venue changed, for reasons such as extreme inclement weather (at the discretion of event officials), or closure of a venue, entry fees shall be non-refundable.
If an event is postponed, every effort will be made to have it rescheduled , however, venue may change (as well as date!!).
When an event is postponed, venue changed, or cancelled, information will go on the Games web site and Facebook page, Tweetered out, and where possible team captains will be notified by email.
