Laser Strike

Sunday, 10th October, morning, with finals early afternoon

Teams will be given a time slot, and will play minimum of three 10-minutes games.

Rules:

•  Teams of 4 play in the Arena for 10 minutes with 4 other teams using the latest in NEW ZEALAND MADE technology.
•  Aim for the 4 lighted areas on the vests and shoot using one of the TWO standard weapons “Phasor” or “Blaster”
   Phasor is a longer range weapon, with unlimited ammunition, designed for accuracy whilst the Blaster is a shorter range (3 metre) weapon with a wide angle, designed to hit multiple targets at the same time. Simply push a button on the gun to change between the two.
• Points are earned by shooting other teams, but are lost when you are shot.
• If you are shot 4 or 5 times in quick succession, your vest will “die” for approximately 10 seconds, before recharging and returning to the game.
• Finalists will be the top two winning teams from each of the rounds.

The teams must abey the following rules:

• No Running
• No Climbing
• No Physical Contact
• Play fair (after “killing” an opposing player – let them get away and recharge)

Chose your strategy  - Work as a team or individuals?
                                  - Keep moving or stay still?
                                  - Offense or Defence?

Keep an eye out for the three bonus stations, and shoot them when flashing to earn upgrades to your pack, including rapid fire, super shield and more....
