About the Games

All our teams enjoyed the events!!! Well organised & heaps of fun were the comments I received.
Stacey Heyes, Powerco

The New Zealand Business Games are all about putting the fun back into work, taking on the opposition with a bit of social competition, and having some action with work mates, partners or family.
Since the Games began, over 55,000 people have entered from small & large companies, government departments, corporations and educational instituations.
Each year an average of 3,000 - 3,500 participants from 140 - 150 organisations take part.

“I love being involved and every year it’s always a success...!  So well done to you all for the organising you do, everyone loved it. They will be back for more next year!”
- Danielle Kimpton, Intergen

Great team spirit with fun for everyone

The Games have 14 events to suit everyone at all levels of activity, so whether you are into a hard out game of Touch, a competitive game of Golf, or enjoy a social game of Ten Pin bowling, there's something for you. People of all ages and fitness can get involved with a team from their business. There are trophies for the serious teams, as well as lots of fun for those who just want to play. Your organistation/division can enter just one or several events.

Getting involved

It's really easy, send information around the office on the intra net, get some teams organised, (we dont need names), then send in your entry.  Everything after that is done by e-mail, making it simple for the team manager to disseminate information throughout the organisation. Entries will open in July.

"Seeing people from the office in situations most unlike any we would see on a day-to-day basis was tremendous, and great fun, and I hope to encourage more teams from the office to take part next year. We all felt it was SUCH good fun, and a great team builder."

Large or Small organisation

It doesn't matter whether you are an organisation of 3 or a corporate of 3,000, you can still take part, with many events only needing teams of three, AND there are lots of trophies; winners trophies for every sport,  PLUS business sector trophies, so in the NZ Business Games size isn't everything. Team Spirit Awards

These will be awarded for Coroporate Challenge, Amazing Race and Ten Pin events, and will be judged on the day. The criteria will include: team spirit, team attire, attitude etc.

Business sector Trophies - simply the best
